Welcome to Greenwood Psychotherapy & Consulting

Beth Flack LPA, LCAS (she/her)

Welcome! I’m Beth Flack, and I’m glad you’re considering taking this step toward healing and self-understanding through psychotherapy. I work to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work to deepen your self-awareness and identify how your patterns of thinking and feeling shape your daily mood and the way you see the world.

You are also invited to process any trauma you’ve experienced. Trauma can profoundly affect your nervous system, relationships, and sense of safety. Working through and healing from trauma can be truly life-changing, helping you reconnect with yourself and those around you in healthier ways.

With over 17 years of experience in psychotherapy and substance use treatment, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I work with adults who are experiencing:

  • Emotion regulation challenges and intense shame

  • Trauma, anxiety, or depression

  • Bipolar disorder, grief, or alcohol abuse

  • Life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, or retirement

My educational background includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina–Wilmington. I am licensed by the NC Psychology Board (LPA) and the NC Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (LCAS).

If you’re ready to make meaningful change in your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

I offer free 15-minute consultation calls to help you decide if therapy with me feels like the right fit.
